Graphic Design and Illustration by One Lioness (including animation, motion graphics, and video)
Description of the work
I will confirm with you (in writing) the work to be done, when I will begin the work, and when I will complete the work. I will provide an estimate of the number of hours this may take. If I have under-calculated, I will inform you as soon as possible, with a re-calculation of the number of hours required.
I will keep you updated on the progress of the work throughout the span of the project.
Delivery
I will deliver on or before the requested end date.
Depending on the nature of the project, final delivery files may be agreed beforehand, or agreed towards the end of the project (as several file types may be needed).
Revisions and Additional Design Assets
I will provide design revisions (up to three times) using your feedback and wishes. Further revisions may require an additional fee (at my hourly rate).
Copyright
I may retain copyright on produced graphic design, illustration, animation and video work, including for usage on social media, the One Lioness website, my digital and physical portfolios, and future projects or media such as print or digital books. Work may be anonymised or omitted on request.
I may use client work in social media posts in order to promote my creative services. I will anonymise sensitive information if necessary or all information if requested.
I may screen-record my work on my computer or iPad in the creation of graphic design and illustration for the purposes of a 'Making Of . . .' video. I will ask your permission to create a video (after the completion of the project) for my own purposes, and show it to you for approval before releasing. I can remove the video at any time from my social media channel/s (which currently are LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram).
I may use client work in my website, social media, portfolios (online and physical versions), and future projects, and may anonymise the work.
Payment Terms
I will supply my hourly rate and give a time frame that I expect to complete the work in. If I have undercalculated the time the work will take, I will contact you as soon as possible to agree with you a new total.
I accept payment via bank transfer and details will be supplied on the invoice after completion of the work.
Payment is due within 14 days of the date on the invoice.
If this deadline is missed, overdue payment will also be charged.
Cancellation
In the event that the client or One Lioness needs to cancel a project, payment will be due for the work completed thus far. Project time is tracked via Toggl for accuracy.
